QUAGGA PROPERTY BROKERS ASSISTS DRA PROJECTS TO MAKE CAPE TOWN THEIR HOME
International organisation, DRA Projects, the leader in the African mining industry for project management of mine design, mineral processing plants and plant operations, has recently signed a 5 year lease for the top two floors of 2 Long Street, a total of 2430m2, through Len Pears of Quagga Property Brokers.
“We have worked closely with DRA Projects in order to find them the best office space for their Cape Town operation,” says Len Pears, Director of Quagga Property Brokers. “2 Long Street, owned by Capital Property Fund and managed by JHI, is an iconic building on the Foreshore, and uniquely designed to offer panoramic views from every office.”
The 5 year rental contract with an option to renew for a further five years, thus securing the premises for a full 10 years, is valued at R59 846 337.80 inclusive and includes 65 parking bays.
“We are excited to be moving into these new premises in the CBD. This is the first step in a growth plan for DRA in the region,” explains Rob Welsh, General Manager of DRA Cape Town. “We plan to expand our presence to represent all aspects of the DRA business from mining and process plant to infrastructure, all the way up the West Coast into Namibia. Our focus is to foster relationships with clients, peers and suppliers.”
